Jim Knapp is our primary conductor. He obtained a Bachelor of Music form University of Akron, Ohio and Masters of Music from Ithaca College, NY. He taught 4 years in Huntington LI, NY and 3 years in Rochester, NY. He toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra from 1997-1999 before moving to the mountains. After arriving here with his lovely wife, he became active with the Summit Concert Band and formed the Alpine Brass Trio with Ann Erdle and Maddie Levinson. He is currently teaching instrumental music in Leadville. CO at Lake County High School and Intermediate School.

Patrick Fagan received his Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College in NY and his Masters of Music Education from the University of northern Colorado. He taught music in Port Henry, NY , Vail, CO and at UNC. Now in Summit County, Patrick splits his time between teaching skiing at Breckenridge and teaching private music lessons. Patrick is an accomplished euphonium player and performs with various groups throughout the region.

Ann Erdle

Stephanie Texera comes to us from Florida where she received her Bachelor of Music from Florida State. She taught music in Ft. Lauderdale and is currently teaching music at Summit High School. She has become an enormous asset in our music community here in Summit County.
